Quotr
quotr.ai
Takeoff and estimating software plus a managed estimating service and materials procurement, for contractors and developers.
Overview
Quotr offers three things: self-serve takeoff and estimating software, a managed estimating service, and factory-direct materials procurement. In the software, users upload PDF or image plan sets, and the AI organizes sheets, counts symbols and measures lengths and areas in metric or imperial units.
Takeoffs can be priced using a firm's own cost database or ZIP-code-level average costs. Line items stay linked to markups on the drawing, so quantity changes carry through to pricing. Outputs include marked-up plan PDFs, quantity exports, client proposals, RFQs and bid comparison.
The managed service runs takeoffs and estimates on submitted drawings, combining AI analysis with review by Quotr's estimators, and also prepares pro formas for developers. The procurement arm sources products such as windows, doors, cabinetry and flooring from manufacturers in China for delivery to California jobsites.

The AI angle
Quotr says its AI reads uploaded plan sets to organize sheets, count symbols and measure lengths and areas across the full set. The company says the resulting line items remain linked to editable markups on the drawings.
The Quotr AI Agent answers plain-language questions about a user's drawings. According to the company, it can return symbol counts, room dimensions and specification information drawn from the plans.
In Quotr's managed estimating service, the company says each deliverable combines AI analysis with review by its in-house estimators before it is returned as a PDF takeoff and line-item spreadsheet.
