Contractor+

contractorplus.app

Contractor software for estimates and jobs, with a combined inbox for calls, texts and email and desktop and mobile apps, offered with a free tier.

Overview

Contractor+ calls itself 'the OS for build & service contractors' and says it aims to replace the multiple tools contractors often use.

The homepage describes desktop and mobile apps, a communication inbox that combines calls, texts, email and voicemail for leads, clients, vendors and subcontractors, multiple workspaces for switching between teams or businesses, and management of jobs, crews and customers in one place.

The pricing page lists unlimited leads, clients, estimates and invoices on paid tiers, along with scheduling and automated contracts.

Before you buy

Questions worth putting to Contractor+, or any estimating & takeoff vendor, on a demo call:

  • Which file types does it read: PDF plan sets, scans, CAD or BIM models?
  • Can I bring in my own unit costs and assemblies, or am I locked into a cost database?
  • When the software measures automatically, how do I review and correct what it found?
  • What does a finished estimate look like to a customer, and can I put my own branding on it?
