Construction management software that brings a builder's financials, schedules, field operations, teams and client communication into one system.
Overview
Buildertrend is construction management software that combines a builder's sales pipeline, project scheduling, financials and client communication in one system. Teams can track leads, send proposals and sign contracts online, then run jobs with shared schedules, change orders, daily logs and punch lists.
On the financial side, the company lists job costing, forecasting, WIP reporting and bill capture, with estimated versus actual cost tracking and invoicing from the job. A client portal gives homeowners project updates and lets them pay online, and schedules can be shared with crews, subcontractors and clients.
Buildertrend says it syncs with QuickBooks, Sage, Xero and Gusto. The company states that its AI features, advanced financials and client portal are part of a single platform with no feature tiers, and that onboarding includes setup and data migration.

Pricing
Starting price listed
Buildertrend's pricing page says the platform starts at $499 per month, with a 10% saving for paying upfront annually. The company says the final price depends on annual construction volume and the onboarding package, and that unlimited users and projects are included; buyers request a quote.

The AI angle
Buildertrend describes its AI as built into the platform rather than offered as a separate tool, and says it draws on the financial records, client communication and job history already stored in Buildertrend. The company says the AI pulls key information from bills, invoices and project documents to cut down on manual data entry, and drafts summaries and updates for a person to review and approve.
The company lists five named capabilities. Client Updates turns daily job inputs into summaries for clients. Bill Capture extracts vendor details, line items and cost codes from bills. Page Naming organizes uploaded plan sets into named files and helps with slip-sheet revisions. Selections pulls product information from a supplier URL for review. Submittals scans specifications and plan sets and organizes them into an importable format to start the submittal process.
