Structured AI

getstructured.ai

Drawing review platform that runs QA/QC on construction drawing sets, checking for errors, code issues and coordination clashes across sheets, with Revit and document-platform connections.

Overview

Structured AI is drawing review software that runs QA/QC checks on construction drawing sets. The company says it looks for errors, code issues and coordination clashes across sheets, disciplines and revisions, and lists each finding with the sheet and location it came from.

Beyond the automated review, the platform includes a chat interface for asking plain-language questions about a drawing set, an overlay tool that aligns sheets from different disciplines or revisions, custom checks written in plain English, and issue tracking through to closure.

Structured AI has dedicated workflows for Autodesk Revit, where checks run against the live model and approved fixes can be written back, and for Bluebeam Studio, where findings are published as PDF markups. It also names integrations with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, SharePoint, Google Drive, Word, Excel, Outlook and Gmail.

Main capabilities

  • QA/QC and code compliance review of drawing sets
  • Plain-language chat over a drawing set
  • Cross-discipline overlay and clash checks
  • Revit model checks with write-back of fixes
  • Bluebeam Studio markup publishing
  • Custom checks written in plain English

Who it's for

Structured AI describes its users as architects, engineers, QA/QC reviewers and project teams at design firms and engineering consultancies, with builders and contractors also using it. Its Revit workflow is aimed at BIM users and modelers. The company addresses design and construction firms broadly and has pages organized by profession.

The AI angle

Structured AI says AI agents review every sheet in a drawing set and return a list of findings, each giving the page, location, what is wrong and how to fix it, with a citation to the sheet and detail. The company says agents can explain a finding, its root cause and every other place it appears, and that the check library grows as a firm defines its own rules.

According to the company, its drawing set chat reads symbols, tables and code references ahead of time and follows cross-references between sheets, then answers questions with links to the exact sheet and location. The overlay tool, it says, finds sheets covering the same area and aligns them across scales so agents can run clash checks.

For Revit, Structured AI says an agent queries the live model directly, writing and running Revit code to perform QA/QC, code compliance and takeoff checks, and reports results by element ID and level. The company says customer inputs are not used for model training and that the AI inherits each user's access permissions.
