Rebuild

rebuild.work

Estimating software for restoration contractors that turns site notes, voice notes, 3D scans and documents into estimate line items, exportable as PDF or to Xactimate.

Overview

Rebuild is estimating software for restoration contractors. Users add scope notes, photos, voice notes, 3D scans and other site documentation to a project, and the software generates an estimate that the user reviews and then exports as a PDF or to Xactimate.

The company says it covers mitigation, interior and exterior reconstruction, new construction, contents, mold, fire mitigation, biohazard and time-and-material work. Rebuild describes itself as a Verisk ecosystem partner with direct export to Xactimate, and says the product can be configured to follow a team's existing estimate-writing process.

The AI angle

Rebuild describes itself as an AI tool for restoration estimating. According to the company, its Generate Estimate feature takes voice notes, 3D scans, photos, scope notes and documents and turns them into estimate line items, producing an estimate the company describes as insurance-compliant and ready to export to Xactimate.

The company says its conversational AI asks follow-up questions about the job, such as drywall thickness, how much drywall was removed, how long drying equipment will stay and whether walls and baseboards are affected. Rebuild also says it reviews on-site documentation to suggest line items that might otherwise be missed, such as an extra day of dehumidifier use.
