The AI angle

Fieldwire groups its AI features under the name Field Intelligence. According to the company, its question-answering feature searches a project's plans, tasks, photos and forms and returns direct answers, such as who completed a task or which system was approved, so users don't have to search manually.

Fieldwire also describes voice-driven task creation and updates, letting crews log progress, assign work and record issues by speaking. Other features it lists include AI help to refine RFIs into clearer questions, converting spoken site updates into structured reports, and turning an issue found on a form into a task with an assigned owner.

Several of these features are presented on the site with beta sign-up links. Fieldwire says it does not use customer data to train AI without explicit permission and keeps each customer's information separated.
