Overview
ClockShark is a time-tracking and job-management app for construction and field service businesses. Crews clock in and out from mobile apps or a web punch clock, with GPS and geofencing, and their timesheets feed payroll and job costing.
Scheduling tools include drag-and-drop rescheduling, draft schedules, a view of who is currently working and time-off management. Job management covers customers, jobs, job costing, team conversations and shift wrap-up and compliance forms, and real-time reports support payroll and labor management. The app includes built-in Spanish language support.
ClockShark names payroll and accounting integrations with QuickBooks, Sage 100 Contractor, Xero, ADP and Paychex. Its Lightning release adds task checklists, mileage tracking on the Pro plan and an AI agent called JobReady.

The AI angle
ClockShark's AI features are part of a release it calls ClockShark Lightning. Its AI agent, JobReady, writes a short brief for a crew member when they open the mobile app on a scheduled day, telling them where to go and what the job requires. According to the company, the brief draws on the schedule, job details, site notes, checklists and attachments.
ClockShark says JobReady only produces a brief and does not change schedules, jobs or records on its own; editing the underlying schedule or notes changes what the brief shows. JobReady is listed on both the Standard and Pro plans. The company says customer data is not used to train AI models.
