Where they differ

Who it’s for

JobNimbus

JobNimbus calls itself an all-in-one platform for roofing contractors. It names siding, gutters and fencing as dedicated industries and also lists painting, restoration, solar, remodeling, concrete, pool, deck and patio, and window and door contractors.

AccuLynx

AccuLynx says it is designed for roofing companies that primarily focus on residential insurance restoration and retail roofing, from startups with as few as three users to multi-location operations with hundreds.

What it means If you run several exterior trades under one roof, JobNimbus speaks to that directly. If insurance restoration roofing is the core of your business, that is who AccuLynx says it builds for.

Pricing and trial

JobNimbus

JobNimbus lists four plans with no dollar amounts: Essentials (up to 3 users), Pro (up to 10), Premium (up to 19) and Enterprise (20 or more). Each says “Request pricing.” It offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required, says there are no required setup or onboarding fees, and sells monthly or annual agreements depending on the plan.

AccuLynx

AccuLynx lists no prices either. It says it charges a monthly subscription for each license, with optional add-ons, priced on the number of users and features. It says it doesn’t require long-term contracts.

What it means You can try JobNimbus before talking price. With AccuLynx, the first step is a pricing call. Either way, get the per-user cost in writing.

Measurements and suppliers

JobNimbus

JobNimbus lets you order EagleView aerial roof measurements from inside the app. It links integrations with ABC Supply and SRS, sends material orders through QXO, and names QuickBooks Online, Beacon PRO+, CompanyCam, SumoQuote and Sunlight Financial among its integrations.

AccuLynx

AccuLynx lets you order EagleView, Hover, Geospan and GAF QuickMeasure reports in-app and says measurements populate the estimate automatically. It offers real-time ABC Supply, SRS Distribution and QXO catalogs and pricing, with orders placed inside AccuLynx, and lists a QuickBooks integration.

What it means Both connect to the big roofing distributors. Check that your measurement provider and your supplier branch are on the list before you switch.

AI

JobNimbus

JobNimbus Scout is an AI assistant that creates and updates jobs, contacts, tasks, notes and photos, and sends texts and emails, from spoken or typed requests. The company says it is in closed beta with a waitlist.

AccuLynx

AccuLynx says its built-in AI ranks lead records by how likely each contact is to buy.

What it means Neither AI feature is the core of the product. Judge both on the CRM and production workflow, and treat Scout as something you can’t count on until it is generally available.

What they have in common

Both are quote-based, both cover the path from lead to invoice, both offer iOS and Android apps, both integrate with QuickBooks and order EagleView measurements in-app, and both connect to ABC Supply, SRS and QXO.

Which might fit

JobNimbus

JobNimbus may suit roofers who also sell siding, gutters, fencing or other exterior work, and firms that want to try the software with their own team before a sales call.

AccuLynx

AccuLynx may suit roofing companies built on insurance restoration and retail re-roofs, especially those that order from several measurement providers and want supplier pricing inside the estimate.

Questions to ask both vendors

  • Does it track a lead from first contact through signed contract, and can you show me where leads are stalling in my pipeline?
  • Which of my lead sources connect automatically, and which would need manual entry or a third-party connector?
  • How fast can it respond to a new web lead at night, and what does that first message say?
  • Can I build a proposal with options, photos and terms, collect an e-signature, and turn it into a job without retyping?
  • How does it collect, store and honor consent and opt-outs for automated texts and calls?
  • Are texting, calling, email and AI conversations included, or billed by volume?
