Oracle Primavera Cloud

oracle.com · part of Oracle

Oracle's cloud planning and scheduling service, related to Primavera P6, covering contract and field schedules, lean task planning, resource loading, risk management and portfolio planning.

Overview

Oracle Primavera Cloud is Oracle's cloud service for construction and engineering planning, scheduling, resource management and risk management. Oracle says it shares its CPM scheduling foundations with Primavera P6 but is a separate product with a different user experience, designed for projects of any size and for both new and experienced schedulers. Oracle says new capabilities are released monthly.

The service connects a contract (CPM) schedule with a field schedule for short-interval task management. Oracle describes the field tools as aligned with the Last Planner System, with pull planning, handoffs, task cards for planning sessions, mobile progress updates and automatic planned-percent-complete reporting. Resource management covers a central pool of labor, equipment and materials across projects, and owners can use portfolio management and capital planning to prioritize project requests.

Risk management includes a central risk register, qualitative scoring, Monte Carlo-based schedule and cost risk analysis, and response planning. Oracle says Primavera Cloud imports and exports P6 XER files, accepts Microsoft Project files, and can be connected to an existing P6 deployment for task or risk management. Oracle Integration Cloud is bundled with the service, and Oracle Aconex can link documents to Primavera Cloud schedules.

Who it's for

Oracle pitches Primavera Cloud at owners and delivery teams on engineering and construction projects, publishing separate service datasheets for each group. Quote on request

Oracle doesn't list Primavera Cloud prices on its product page; the page directs buyers to contact Oracle or request a demo. Oracle says Oracle Integration Cloud is bundled with the service, including a free allotment of 2 million messages per month.

The AI angle

Oracle's Primavera Cloud documentation lists one AI feature for the service: a Help Assistant that answers questions about how to use Primavera Cloud. According to the documentation, it is offered only in certain North American, European and Middle East and Africa data centers, is off by default, and must be switched on by an application administrator.

Beyond that, Oracle's product page speaks about AI in general terms, saying it is investing in AI across its cloud infrastructure and applications and that Primavera Cloud runs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The product page does not describe specific AI features for scheduling, resource or risk workflows.

This page summarises what Oracle Primavera Cloud says about its own product on its website, checked in October 2026. It is not a review, and listings are editorial: no company pays to appear. Spotted something out of date? Email newsroom@constructionindustry.ai.
