Reality capture platform combining drone, 360-camera, ground-robot and phone imagery into measurable site records for progress, quality and safety review.
Overview
DroneDeploy is a reality capture platform that collects imagery from drones, 360-degree cameras, ground robots, docked systems and phones and turns it into measurable site records, including maps, 3D models and 360-degree imagery. Teams use these records to review progress, quality and safety remotely instead of visiting the site.
Named products include Progress AI for automated progress tracking from aerial flights and ground-level 360 walks, and Ground Pro, a premium add-on to DroneDeploy Ground that adds interior floor and ceiling maps, mobile 3D scanning of trenches and in-slab work before it is covered, and measurable 3D meshes from 360 walks. A Data on Demand service network can capture sites for customers.
DroneDeploy became part of Procore in September 2026, according to the company. It says Ground Pro brings its 3D records into Procore, where drawings synced with DroneDeploy can be overlaid on interior maps to check site conditions against the design.

The AI angle
DroneDeploy says Progress AI uses its proprietary visual intelligence to detect installed work, sequencing and changes from drone flights and ground-level 360 walks, which can be processed together. The company says it works with any 360 camera or drone and does not require a schedule or BIM model, though either can be added.
According to DroneDeploy, Progress AI outputs a visual report of percent complete by location, trade status by area and date, and verified installed work across more than 80 trade types, with imagery tied to location, date and trade that can be shared by link or export.
DroneDeploy also describes AI that automates earthworks analysis and quantification, detects visual defects such as rust, leaks and debris ranked by severity, and identifies safety hazards such as missing toe boards and tripping risks. The company says AI agents surface schedule and safety risks proactively.
