Doxel

Automated progress tracking that analyzes hard-hat 360-degree camera walks against BIM to measure work in place by trade, system and stage versus the schedule.
Overview
Doxel is an automated construction progress tracking platform. A crew member walks the site with a 360-degree camera mounted on a hard hat or selfie stick, recording through the Doxel iPhone app, and Doxel compares the video with the project's BIM model to measure work in place by trade, system and stage.
Modules cover automatic progress tracking, a color-coded 3D progress view of planned versus actual work, a photo history of site conditions, production rates by zone, trade or system, a live schedule view tied to actual progress, and budget tools that link installed quantities to contract values for earned value and pay applications. Doxel also supports drone footage for exterior and underground utility work.
According to Doxel, onboarding starts with sending the BIM model and takes under two weeks, with no changes needed to the existing model or schedule. Its FAQ lists integrations with Oracle Primavera P6, Procore, Autodesk and Revizto, and says customers can use their own staff for walks or have Doxel provide a capture team.
Main capabilities
- Automated progress tracking from 360-degree video
- Color-coded 3D planned-versus-actual view
- Production rates by zone, trade and system
- Live schedule view tied to progress
- Earned value and pay application support
- Drone footage for exterior and utility work
Who it's for
Doxel says its customers are owners and general contractors, with trade partners also using the platform. It names superintendents, project managers, schedule coordinators and design and construction directors as users, with executives using the progress reports. The company highlights data center, healthcare and life sciences work and says it operates on jobsites across the United States.

Pricing
Quote on request
Doxel doesn't list prices on its pricing page. It says it generally charges by the square foot, that price depends on the capabilities needed and the volume of construction or jobsite size, and that it doesn't charge per seat, so projects can have unlimited users.

The AI angle
Doxel says it uses computer vision to compare 360-degree walk video with the BIM model and quantify work in place automatically. The company says its software is trained to recognize construction elements in images, identifies and counts them across trades, and highlights them in a 3D model, with a QA team reviewing results to further train the system.
The measured quantities feed a rules-of-credit engine that converts installed work into percent-complete values across scopes, systems and phases, according to Doxel. The company says it tracks visible trades including architectural, structural, MEP, fire protection and millwork.
Doxel says it uses language models to map project schedules to actual progress, and uses historical production rates to project delays and suggest plan adjustments. The company also says the platform flags incomplete or out-of-sequence work.
