Cupix

cupix.com

4D digital twin platform that turns 360-degree video into measurable 3D site records, with progress tracking, BIM comparison, drone mapping and remote collaboration.

Overview

Cupix describes its product as a 4D digital twin platform for construction and facility management. Users record a site walk with a consumer 360-degree camera mounted on a hard hat or selfie stick, using the CupixCapture app on iOS or Android, and the cloud software turns the footage into a 3D map with virtual tours, viewed in the browser-based SiteView.

Repeated captures build a time-stamped record of how a site changes. Other modules cover spatial collaboration with BIM data, notes and issue tracking, off-site BIM verification that overlays BIM elements or 2D drawing lines on captures and flags deviations, drone mapping, point clouds and laser scans, and SiteInsights, an add-on for construction progress tracking.

Cupix lists integrations with Autodesk BIM 360, Autodesk Forma, Procore, Revizto, Oracle and ArcGIS. SiteInsights can take schedules as WBS or CSV files or through Oracle P6 and Microsoft Project, according to the company.

Pricing

Quote on request

Cupix doesn't list prices on its pricing page. The SiteInsights page says pricing depends on project value and square footage and directs buyers to sales. The pricing page includes a "start for free" prompt but doesn't say whether that is a trial or an ongoing free plan.

The AI angle

Cupix says a vision AI engine processes 360-degree walk video and reconstructs the walking path in 3D, producing mesh-based 3D maps, panoramic virtual tours and located, time-stamped photo frames from footage shot on a consumer 360 camera.

For progress tracking, Cupix describes SiteInsights as AI progress tracking software. The company says it uses computer vision and geometry to compare each new 360 capture with earlier ones, automatically tag the completion status of tracked BIM elements such as ducts, walls and windows, and calculate progress by work area, trade and BIM category.

According to Cupix, SiteInsights also forecasts completion dates from past work rates and produces dashboards, color-coded BIM views that flag overdue items, Gantt charts, 4D schedule views and PDF reports. The company says a BIM model is required for automatic progress measurement.
