Buildots

Construction progress platform that compares site captures with the plan to report what was built and when, with add-ons for workforce visibility and managed capture services.
Overview
Buildots describes itself as a construction intelligence platform. It takes regular captures of a site from 360-degree cameras, drones or laser scans and compares them with the project's BIM model and schedule to report what has been built, when, and where work is falling behind.
The core platform includes progress tracking at the element level, delay forecasting, a timeline view, an Explorer interface for viewing the site remotely, and trade management based on site performance. A Data Connector combines progress data with financial, scheduling and operational data. Buildots says coverage spans underground utilities (via drone), superstructure and interior fit-out.
Two add-ons extend the platform. Capture Services sends certified Buildots technicians to scan the site with 360-degree cameras, usually weekly. Buildots Field covers workforce visibility, safety and logistics, using Bluetooth beacons and a worker phone app to record who is on site and where, alongside digital safety orientations, site messaging and hoist and delivery booking.

The AI angle
Buildots says its AI compares each round of site captures, taken with 360-degree cameras, drones or laser scans, against the project's BIM model and schedule. The output is progress and installation data tracked at the element level over time, including areas that are not modeled. The company says processing takes 24 to 36 hours after a capture.
From that progress data, Buildots says the platform flags activities and deviations that could threaten the delivery date and forecasts delays ahead of time. It also produces a dated record of what was built and when, which the company positions as documentation for disputes.
Buildots describes Buildots Field as combining workforce location data from on-site Bluetooth beacons with progress data to show how labor relates to output, which the company calls productivity intelligence. The site does not detail which AI methods Buildots Field uses.
