Volve

volvetech.com

Platform for tendering, preconstruction and contract management that structures tender and contract documents into reviewable, source-linked outputs.

Overview

Volve is a platform for tendering, preconstruction and contract management, made by Volve Technologies AS. It takes full sets of tender, contract and bid documents and structures them into views of scope, requirements, risks and obligations, with each finding linked back to the source text.

Volve organizes its use around three stages: early review before committing to a bid, including go/no-go support; bid development, where teams check coverage against requirements, draft deliverables and compare incoming subcontractor bids; and contract execution, covering scope control, change management, obligation and notice logs, and support for claims.

Documents can be uploaded directly in PDF, Word and Excel formats, or pulled in from SharePoint or Procore. Volve says it reads drawings alongside text and works across languages, including mixed-language document sets. Teams can reuse their checks and outputs on later tenders.

Main capabilities

  • Tender coverage and compliance checks
  • Risk, deviation and contradiction flags
  • Side-by-side subcontractor bid comparison
  • Obligation and notice logs during execution
  • Source-linked Q&A over document sets
  • SharePoint and Procore document import

Who it's for

Volve markets to contractors' tendering, bid and contract management teams working on building, infrastructure and energy projects with large, complex document sets. It also addresses procurement teams evaluating subcontractor bids and organizations running multi-team or cross-border tender reviews, and says it can apply a company's own project types, client requirements, technical standards and local contract forms across a portfolio.

The AI angle

Volve describes its AI as built for construction terminology, requirements and compliance criteria. According to the company, it reads a full tender or contract document set, links requirements, risks and obligations across files with awareness of document versions and precedence, and flags gaps, contradictions and deviations, with every answer tied to its source text.

The company says users can ask questions in natural language and generate briefs, clarifications, proposals and comparison views. Volve also says its AI compares an RFP against a bid, standards against requirements, or bids against each other on a consistent requirement set, and that it reads drawings such as ceiling plans, room schedules and sections and connects them to the governing requirements. It offers predefined and custom checks.
