Miter

miter.com

Workforce and back-office platform for construction firms combining payroll, HR, expenses, time tracking, scheduling, daily reports, job costing and compliance such as certified payroll.

Overview

Miter is workforce and back-office software for construction companies. It is organized into three product groups: human capital management (HRIS, payroll, recruiting, benefits, onboarding and learning), field operations (time tracking, scheduling, production, daily reports and safety), and expense management (reimbursements, per diems, corporate cards and accounts payable).

Payroll supports prevailing wage, certified payroll and union payroll. In the field, crews clock in by mobile, tablet, desktop or kiosk with geofenced job sites and an offline mode, and log hours, equipment and quantities that feed job costing. Daily reports compile time, equipment, production and safety records, and the safety tools capture hazards and incidents with photos, voice notes or forms.

Miter's integrations page lists accounting and ERP systems including Sage Intacct, Oracle NetSuite, Acumatica, Sage 300 CRE, Viewpoint Spectrum and Vista, QuickBooks, CMiC, Foundation and Xero, field and project tools such as Procore, HCSS, BuildOps and ServiceTitan, and HR tools including BambooHR. A REST API is available for custom integrations.
