iRoofing

iroofing.org

Mobile roofing software for measuring roofs from satellite, aerial, drone or blueprint images, building estimates, visualizing roofs and creating contracts.

Overview

iRoofing is roofing software available through a web login and native iPhone, iPad and Android apps. The company says contractors can measure any roof accurately using satellite, HD aerial, drone or blueprint images without climbing, and that digital measurements can be edited during a site visit.

Measurements feed estimates: the site says pricing can be set per square or fully customized, and that material quantities and costs are calculated automatically from the digital measurements. Other listed features include roof reports ordered from within the app, a digital sales presentation, roofing catalogs and materials, digital contracts with signatures, supply orders from distributors, and project management for job details, photos and customer information.

The company's FAQ says iRoofing was established in 2011 and built for roofing workflows.

The AI angle

iRoofing describes an AI Roof Visualizer that shows brands, colors and shingles on a home's roof in high definition. In its FAQ the company says users rely on its proprietary AI to quickly generate project visualizations, estimates and proposals.

The site does not explain how the models work or how measurements are produced from imagery.

Questions worth putting to iRoofing, or any aerial measurement & roof reports vendor, on a demo call:

  • What does a report include: area, pitch, edges, waste factors, material lists?
  • How is it priced: per report, per subscription or by credits?
  • How quickly are reports delivered, and what happens if imagery is out of date or the structure is obscured?
  • What accuracy guarantee or re-measure policy does the vendor offer?
