Product Lumber's Insurance Agent Reads the Subcontract First. The Design Choice Is That It Never Approves a Sub. Lumber announced on 21 October that its Certificate of Insurance Agent is available to Procore customers, through what it calls the Procore Agent Marketplace. The company says a general contractor may carry 200 to 300+ active COIs and spend 10 to 15+ hours a week checking them against subcontract terms. The agent validates coverage against each subcontract rather than a generic checklist — and the release is explicit that it never approves or rejects a subcontractor itself.
