Funding Australia Is Funding Robot Factories, Not Robot Pilots — A$31.1M for Solar Construction Automation ARENA is putting up to A$31.1 million into two manufacturing facilities: a Melbourne line for Luminous Robotics' panel-placing LUMIs and a Brisbane hub for Built Robotics' autonomous piling systems. The money is tied to unit counts — around 100 robots and 12 piling systems — and ARENA's project records, which the release does not mention, put the two total project costs at A$39.72m and A$28.51m.
